The product is positioned as a self-serve solution for accountants, aiming to bridge the gap between accounting and engineering and reduce reliance on expensive third-party consultants and long implementations. Numeral launched its subledger last June and has since gained traction with high-volume customers including AllTrails, Gabb Wireless, Scribd, Hipcamp, and Elysium Health. The company announced an oversubscribed $3.0M seed raise and says the capital will be used for headcount growth and continued investment in product development. CEO Christopher Kim framed the company’s vision as enabling every transaction and financially relevant event to be accounted for in real time.
