Numerous, founded in 2013 by John Scalo and Charlie Wood, is an app designed to help users track and aggregate the numbers that matter in their lives. Available on iOS and Android, it uses customizable tiles to display metrics ranging from fitness, elevation, and countdowns to Salesforce, Stripe, Google Analytics, Coinbase, and social follower counts. The product includes alerts, IFTTT and Nest integrations, and two new APIs (Metrics and Channels) so developers can create/update numbers and connect additional data sources. Numerous recently launched a major redesign with a new logo, user experience, integrations, and features, and is positioning itself to serve both consumer and business/dashboard use cases. The company plans to expand platform support with forthcoming Mac and web apps and to add real-time sports data and other data types. Financially, Numerous has raised $700,000 in seed funding to date from FG Angels, Techstars Ventures, and Stage One Capital, and has hinted that a Series A is not far off.
