Numra has developed Mary, an AI-powered accounts assistant that behaves like a real-life team member and can be trained on a finance team's processes. Mary integrates with finance systems and can be interacted with via email, Microsoft Teams, Slack or other chat software. The product automates tasks such as invoice processing, 3-way matching, payments and reconciliations, and the company reports Mary can improve finance-team productivity by 30–50%. Numra plans to use new funding to accelerate customer acquisition in the US and to further invest in product development to introduce Mary to market. The company was founded in August 2023 by David Kearney (CEO) and Conor Digan (CTO).
