NurivaTech’s flagship product, SportFX, is a smartphone-based biomechanics assessment that tracks 23 body points at 120 frames per second and reports accuracy within half a degree based on tests against a Qualisys system at the Wake Forest Pitching Lab. The company also developed an AI coach called Winston to generate personalized coaching recommendations. SportFX launches with baseball and softball and the company plans to expand into more sports; it currently processes results in a few minutes while real-time mode and ball-flight tracking are in development. The app is offered via monthly subscriptions (listed as $16 or $30) or an annual subscription ($100) following a free trial. NurivaTech was founded by CEO Joseph Caruso, whose experience with existing launch monitors inspired the product, and its leadership includes Dante Girardi as VP of Baseball Operations. Financially, the company reported an $8M seed raise led by a group of sports veterans and other investors.
