Overview
Nurture builds an interactive app for children aged 4 to 7 that teaches socializing, basic financial understanding, mindfulness, fitness, nutrition, and other life skills through story-based adventures and games. Its flagship title, "Doki’s Delivery," focuses on social-emotional learning and uses a dual-screen experience requiring a parent-downloaded TV app (Fire TV or Google TV) while the child uses a phone or tablet as a controller. The app includes reflection moments to assess a child's understanding, a parent-facing reporting feature, and offline activity suggestions to reinforce concepts. Nurture operates a creator platform where third-party creators can host content on digital "islands," and the company is in discussions with about 20 creators to expand its library. The company is running an invite-only beta in the U.S., U.K., and Canada, plans to expand to other markets in 2025, and intends to launch a paid subscription when the app opens to the public. The founding team includes CEO Roger Egan and former RedMart colleagues, creative officers experienced in children's animated content, and advisors such as Club Penguin co-founder Lance Priebe and product leaders from Roblox and Sesame Street.
