O-Flexx Technologies GmbH is a Duisburg, Germany-based developer and manufacturer of thermo-electric elements that enable the economic use of both low- and high-grade waste heat across a broad variety of applications. Its core products are high-efficient, low-cost thermo-electric elements intended for waste-heat recovery. The company completed a €6.7m extended Series A financing. The investment was made by SET Venture Partners, which joined existing investors ATMOS, BankInvest, Emerald Technology Ventures, Partech International, SAM GmbH and Schneider Electric Ventures. The new funds will enable O-Flexx to run a manufacturing plant and to roll out its thermo-electric elements. As part of the financing, Rene Savelsberg, CEO of SET Venture Partners, joined the company's board of directors.
