OAG Analytics provides an upstream AI platform that combines data management and advanced analytics to help oil and gas operators make profitable decisions. The platform is designed to give clients easy access to disparate data points, enabling large-scale development optimization. Founder and CEO Luther Birdzell built the product to democratize data for upstream oil and gas customers. OAG says its clients have optimized more than $10 billion in capital expenditures using the platform. The company plans to use new capital to grow and implement several major enhancements to its upstream AI platform. Rice Investment Group has taken an active role, with partner Derek Rice joining OAG’s board as a director.
