Oak
Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv, Israel, Asia
Overview
Oak offers an AI-native unified control plane for identity and access management that maps permissions to actual application usage and removes unneeded access in real time. Its product includes an AI connector framework designed to detect risk-based signals (for example, unusual login locations) and reduce manual, periodic access reviews. The company spent months consulting roughly 100 CISOs and IAM leaders during product development and launched generally available software that it says is already deployed by enterprise clients. Oak was co-founded by Shai Morag and Tal Marom and built a team of about 50 employees while in stealth; it is actively hiring, with plans for a majority of staff to be based in the U.S. The startup positions itself as a replacement for legacy IAM tools and intends to invest its recent funding heavily into R&D and growth.
