Objective Logistics

109 Kingston St Fl 3, Boston, Massachusetts, 02111, United States

Overview

Objective Logistics builds MUSE, a talent-optimization software platform that uses game dynamics on the front end—leaderboards, shift and prize rewards—and back-end analytics to measure individual performance. MUSE ranks waitstaff and hourly workers, rewards them with their choice of shifts and other prizes automatically based on performance, and provides managers with shift/day/week data to improve customer experience. Customers consistently see top-line sales increases of 2–8% and marked improvements in guest satisfaction. The company’s customer base has grown to nine brands representing more than 70 restaurants. Objective Logistics plans to scale operations to meet customer demand and extend MUSE from the restaurant industry into other verticals. The company was founded in 2009 and has offices in Cambridge and New Bedford, Massachusetts. Objective Logistics develops MUSE, software that analyzes daily restaurant data to give owners insight into staff performance. MUSE applies sophisticated algorithms, game dynamics and built-in incentives to rank and reward waitstaff with shift choices and other prizes automatically based on performance. The company says the funding will be used to further develop and commercialize the software. Objective Logistics cites the US restaurant labor software market at $2.4 billion in 2011 growing to $5.4 billion by 2021. It already has early customers including Not Your Average Joes, whose CEO said MUSE should improve staff behavior and increase sales. The company was founded in 2009 and has offices in Cambridge and New Bedford, Massachusetts.
