Octoshape develops a patented Infinite Edge™ technology that enables broadcasters and CDNs to deliver HD-quality video on both fixed and mobile networks. The technology is designed to serve a global audience without deploying costly hardware near users. The company operates from Copenhagen and also maintains offices in the US and Singapore. Customers include EBU (European Broadcasting Union), Turner Broadcasting System, CNN, PGA Tour and TVE. Octoshape raised €4m and will use the funding to expand worldwide. The firm's product targets large-scale internet and mobile video delivery for broadcasters and content distributors.
