Oculogica

1477 S. Knowles #110F, New Richmond, WI, 54017, United States

Overview

Oculogica develops EyeBOX, an eye-tracking, FDA-cleared, baseline-free aid for diagnosing and categorizing concussion. The EyeBOX is a four-minute test intended for ages 5 to 67 and is already used by leading healthcare organizations. The company announced a $2 million U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC) grant to develop a wearable version of its technology for deployed and far-forward settings. That effort will involve partners including Keller Army Hospital at West Point, The Geneva Foundation, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. AdHawk Microsystems’ camera-free eye-tracking technology will be a critical component of the new wearable device. Oculogica has previously received grants from the NIH and the FDA; the USAMRDC award is the largest grant the company has received to date. Oculogica is the company behind the EyeBOX device. The EyeBOX is being distributed at Level I, II and III trauma centers nationwide. The company recently closed an $8 million financing round. Sofia Fund, an existing backer, participated in the round. Proceeds will support further commercial distribution and deployment, including additional units for use with the U.S. Department of Defense.
