Odd Concepts
Tokyo, Japan
Overview
Odd Concepts commercializes PXL, a fashion styling service that uses proprietary machine‑learning and computer vision to recognize, analyze and search images and recommend personalized fashion products. PXL is used by about 100 e‑commerce companies across Korea and APAC (including Singapore, Japan, Indonesia and Thailand) and records over 9 million monthly unique users. The company has gathered billions of data points on consumers and product coordination from three years of commercial service, and holds more than 60 patents (registered and filings) at home and abroad. Odd Concepts has placed first in about 10 domestic and international benchmark tests, positioning it as a deep‑tech leader in fashion commerce. The company plans to expand its business across APAC markets and earlier this year moved to accelerate regional growth by acquiring Singaporean startup SEACRUX to extend contextual targeting ad capabilities. Its accumulated investments total about USD10M, providing capital to support regional expansion and further product development.
