Odysee
312 Arizona Ave, 3rd Floor, Santa Monica, CA, 90401, United States
Overview
Odysee develops AI-powered software that analyzes vast airline scheduling and operational data to quantify how schedule changes affect revenue, profits, and reliability. Its machine-learning model uses roughly 42 attributes (time/day, route traffic, competitor schedules, etc.) and can run hundreds of simulations within seconds. Early simulations reportedly saved Alaska Airlines hundreds of thousands of dollars on a single scheduling change. Odysee is the first startup spun out of an aviation-focused venture lab formed by Alaska Airlines and UP.Labs and is currently in user acceptance testing with Alaska. After testing completes, Alaska will begin a trial expected to start by the end of October. The venture-lab structure intends for startups to operate independently and sell products commercially across the industry. Financially, Odysee has completed an initial external raise to support those commercial efforts.
