Offline Protocol is developing a decentralized networking platform designed to provide financial access, communications, and privacy in regions with unreliable or nonexistent internet service. Its technology enables smartphones to create local mesh networks so consumers, retailers, and businesses can transact and exchange messages even when traditional telecom connections are down. The company aims to establish an “alternate-web” that seamlessly links devices in underserved and isolated communities. Founder Satvik Sethi, formerly Mastercard’s global product lead for Web3 and a two-time acquired social-impact entrepreneur, is positioning the startup to solve critical real-world connectivity problems.
