Oggs produces plant-based bakery goods and liquid egg substitutes, including its patented Oggs Aquafaba (made from chickpea extract) and a Whole Egg Alternative. The products are positioned to reduce CO2e emissions—Oggs cites reductions of up to 72% versus standard eggs. The company launched in 2018 and achieved B Corp status in October 2022 with an overall score of 86.2. Oggs reports an average reported growth of 41% year-on-year since launch and has secured £5m in funding over the past 2.5 years. Management says proceeds from the current round will be used to unlock new manufacturing opportunities and to bolster the bakery business, and it has a target of £11m in sales by 2026.
