Omens is a healthtech started by Olivier Capoulade and Morgan Autret that connects men with urologists via a telemedicine marketplace and links prescriptions to local pharmacies. The platform offers remote consultations by video, message, or phone, and stores physician reports and digitally signed prescriptions online. Average consultation price is R$160 and patients can order medications from partner pharmacies. After seven months of setup the service launched in early December in Brazil; at launch the company had six registered doctors and one partner pharmacy. Omens plans to expand its ecosystem as user numbers grow, add other professionals such as psychologists and nutritionists, and in 2021 introduce content and online courses about sexuality. Current operational focus is on marketing to overcome taboos and acquire customers.
