Omixy is a stealth European startup aiming to simplify medical check-ups by sending a nurse to users' homes for sample collection and ongoing health tracking. Its core offering combines whole genome sequencing with genomics, metabolomics and microbiome analyses. The company adds a medical layer by providing doctor-led interpretation of results rather than only raw data. If further testing is required, Omixy connects users with a network of established partners. It positions itself as a more convenient alternative to traditional appointments and lab visits, enabling easier annual check-ups and personalized health advice. In the longer term Omixy plans to act as a marketplace/API between diagnostics technology providers and end users. The startup recently raised $1.5 million from SGH Capital with help from TheFamily and intends to launch in London in Q2 2016.
