Ondo Solutions develops smart precision micro-irrigation, fertigation and microclimate-management solutions for greenhouses that are controlled via a mobile app. The company offers a package of digital-assisted microirrigation and greenhouse management tools. Its solutions are currently used in 15 farms across Bulgaria and North Macedonia. Founded in March 2020 by Ilia Iordanov and Ivan Dragoev, the founders also run an IT firm, IndigoVerge, in Sofia. Ondo plans to use new funding to expand across the Balkans and to target France and the Netherlands, and it intends to pursue entry to the Israeli market through the EIT FAN accelerator in Haifa. Financially, the company has just closed a €1 million financing round and had previously raised €820,000 according to Crunchbase.
