One Raven is built around the One Raven Home Server, which the company says runs device logic locally and stores homeowner data on the home network. The system ships with smart devices that arrive pre-paired and factory-configured so components work without cloud dependency. Founders Lucas Haldeman and Sarah Roudybush previously built SmartRent and are leading technology, sales, marketing, and operations for the new company. The startup launched with a $5M seed led by Fifth Wall and plans to scale production of its Home Server and initial device suite. One Raven is expanding its local-intelligence software and growing its sales and partnership teams while hiring roles in Phoenix. The company expects to announce its first homebuilder partnerships in the third quarter.
