OneClass operates a collaborative note, lecture and textbook platform that lets students share notes, create supplementary resources (including video), and download content via a gamified credit/rewards system. The startup launched in September 2011 and rebranded from Notesolution as it expanded beyond notes. It currently counts roughly 200,000 members and over 1,700 videos. OneClass is active in 50 schools across the U.S. and Canada. The company plans to use new funding to add more institutions and to expand into high school and graduate programs.
