Onedome creates and curates mixed-reality and interactive art installations that blend augmented reality with physical spaces to encourage collaboration and community. The company sells tickets to this experience at its 1025 Market Street location in San Francisco, where the exhibit debuted on October 19. Onedome is also developing LMNL, a 10,000-square-foot immersive gallery slated to open later this winter, featuring installations that respond to and are influenced by participants. Financially, the company has secured $5.55 million in total funding, comprising the new $3.33 million Series A round and approximately $2.22 million of earlier convertible notes that converted into the Series A. The fresh capital is earmarked for expanding The Unreal Garden and completing the build-out of LMNL.
