Overview
One Drop provides a data-powered, personalized self-care platform that delivers predictive and preventive interventions for people managing diabetes, prediabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. The platform draws on more than 13 billion health data points from users and has been downloaded over three million times. One Drop's modular architecture and user-centric experience enable expansion across multiple therapeutic areas and support whole-person care rather than single-condition management. Since 2016 its digital health solution has been available to consumers, employers, insurers, and healthcare providers, and over 20 peer-reviewed studies demonstrate significant improvements in glycemic control in as little as one month. Financially, One Drop closed a $34.7 million Series C and secured $64 million in development fees and potential commercial milestone payments from Bayer. The Bayer collaboration is intended to jointly develop digital products into Bayer's focus areas, including cardiology, oncology, and women's health, supporting the company's plans to broaden its platform's therapeutic reach. Informed Data Systems offers One Drop, a diabetes management platform combining software, hardware and services that lets users log glucose, food, insulin and physical activity. The platform supports people with Type 1, Type 2, pre-diabetes and diabetes caregivers and enables anonymous sharing and community insights. One Drop delivers actionable, data-driven insights to users on the platform and is available for iOS and Apple Watch. Led by CEO and founder Jeff Dachis, the company plans to use new funding to continue platform development and accelerate adoption among users, self-insured employers and insurers. The company is based in New York City and Austin, Texas and recently completed a Series A financing.
