Onepark operates a mobile app and online car-park booking platform that allows drivers to compare, reserve and pay for parking in advance via partnerships with parking managers, hotels and other businesses. Launched in 2014, the company lists spaces in over 1,500 parking lots across Europe (about 1,000 in France, 100 in Spain and 50 in Belgium, plus slots in Switzerland, the Netherlands and Luxembourg). Onepark says it sells more than 100,000 hours of parking each day. It already works with partners such as AccorHotels (using the platform in nearly 250 establishments) and Groupe ADP (which offers 40,000 parking spaces at Paris airports). The startup faces competition from Zenpark, Yespark, OPnGO, Parclick and EasyPark. With the new funding it plans to accelerate deployment across existing countries, launch in Portugal in the coming weeks, and expand after having entered the Netherlands, Italy and Germany the prior year. By 2023 Onepark aims to list 5,000 parking lots (about 100,000 parking spaces) and to grow its headcount to more than 100 employees by the end of 2019. The new €12 million investment from Keolis will be used for product development, a redesign of its user experience, and continued European expansion. Onepark plans to open offices in Berlin and Milan. The company previously raised €2.5 million last year from Keolis. It faces competition from Sweden's EasyPark and various car rental firms that offer parking-booking services. OnePark operates a web and mobile platform that allows people to find and book parking spots in real time and sends a geo‑localized confirmation email with entry and exit information. The company was co‑founded in 2013 by David Vanden Born and Gilles Latouche and is based in Cergy, France. OnePark currently has 450 parking partnerships, manages 80,000 bookings a year and employs 20 people. It raised €2.5m in funding to support its growth. The company intends to use the funds to accelerate sales and product development and to expand its geographic reach.
