Onfleet

268 Bush Street #4305, San Francisco, CA, 94104, United States

Overview

Onfleet builds last-mile delivery management software offering a dispatch dashboard for route optimization, auto-assigning tasks, driver and delivery search, real-time driver tracking, customer status updates, and proof of delivery. The platform leverages machine learning and a dataset of around 500 million miles of anonymized driver location data (tens of billions of data points) to power features like predictive ETA and driver optimization. Onfleet says it facilitates millions of deliveries per week for thousands of businesses, including Sweetgreen. Co‑founded in 2015, San Francisco‑based Onfleet plans to expand its workforce from about 120 to around 150 within the year. Management intends to use new capital to invest in product development, expand product and engineering capabilities, and enhance the company’s enterprise offering. The company declined to disclose detailed financials but said it is on track for continued growth. Onfleet provides a routing and dispatch platform that enables real-time communications and proactive delivery management to ensure fast, executed deliveries. The product is used across industries that require last-mile delivery, including grocery, pharmacy, restaurants, beverage companies, retail and ecommerce. The company reports it has powered more than 80 million deliveries in over 90 countries for thousands of clients, including Kroger, Sweetgreen, Drizly, Imperfect Foods, Alto Pharmacy and Gap. Led by co-founder and CEO Khaled Naim, Onfleet intends to use new funding to broaden its product offerings and expand its global presence. Financially, the company has raised a total of $20M since inception. Onfleet builds a white-label backend that coordinates deliveries, facilitates communication between dispatch and couriers, and provides recipient-facing tracking and ETA features. The company primarily serves startups that want delivery capabilities without managing routing and fleet operations, citing customers such as Meadow and Canary. Onfleet says it has facilitated more than 100,000 deliveries this year, and its largest customer is kept confidential. The team is working to expand up‑market to enterprise clients with existing fleets and down‑market to enable any merchant to offer deliveries via an Onfleet-provisioned driver network. Planned product work includes driver behavior analytics, driver background checks through services like Checkr, and route optimization. The company will use new capital to broaden its customer base beyond seed- and Series A-stage startups.
