Oniria Therapeutics is a Barcelona-based biopharmaceutical company developing drugs to eliminate persistent tumour cells that remain after conventional cancer treatment. Its lead candidate, ONR-001, is described as a first-in-class drug aimed at removing those persistent cells. The company is in the preclinical phase and intends to use recently raised funds to continue advancing development of ONR-001. Oniria focuses on precision oncology and targeting the cells responsible for disease progression into fatal phases. The company was established in 2021 as a spin-off of the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), University of Barcelona and ICREA. The founding team includes Dr Héctor G.
