OnlineDoctor operates a teledermatology platform where patients submit skin concerns and receive diagnoses and action recommendations from specialist dermatologists. The platform already reaches Switzerland, Germany and Austria and hosts over 600 specialist doctors from the DACH region. In Germany more than 10 million statutory insured can access the service free of charge. Customers include hospitals, clinics, over 300 pharmacies, health insurers and international companies such as Hartmann and L'Oréal. Growth was accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic; the company plans to use new capital to internationalize, scale growth and further develop the platform technically. Teams in St. Gallen, Zürich and Hamburg will be expanded; the company raised CHF5.5 million in the recent financing and has cumulatively attracted over CHF8 million in venture capital.
