ONN Bikes operates an app- and website-based platform for renting two-wheelers on daily, weekly and monthly bases and also offers tour packages, exclusive merchandise, refurbishing and maintenance. The company was founded in 2015 by Shanky Munoth and Namit Jain and began operations in May 2016. It serves customers including Uber, Ola and Swiggy and operates across Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mysuru, Lucknow, Raipur and Surat, plus franchisee outlets run with local partners. The startup plans to use new capital to ramp up its technology base, increase fleet size, expand into other geographies and fund promotional activities for its franchisee model. Financially, ONN Bikes has raised seed funding earlier (Dec 2016) and most recently a pre-Series A of Rs 4.5 crore ($692K).
