ONO is a Berlin-based urban mobility startup developing the Pedal Assisted Transporter (PAT) Pioneers Edition, an electric e-cargo bike. The PAT combines the flexibility of a bicycle with the capacity and durability of a transport van, featuring a modular design and just over 2 cubic metres of cargo space. The vehicle is emission-free and aimed at city deliveries, initially targeting the Courier, Express, and Parcel (CEP) last-mile market. ONO plans an initial rollout this fall in Berlin, Munich, Leipzig and Langeoog and is preparing a Europe-wide launch set for 2022, including a pilot with Hermes. Co-founder and head of design Murat Günak previously served as head of design at Mercedes‑Benz and Volkswagen. EIT InnoEnergy has committed €3 million to ONO to be received over the next two years to support the Europe expansion. By 2025 the startup hopes to have 14,000 vehicles on the road in over 60 cities.
