Onomondo builds and operates a dedicated wireless network and IoT tech stack that stitches together hundreds of cellular providers to deliver low‑power, long‑range connectivity in more than 180 countries. The company says its in‑house network core provides end‑to‑end control and visibility from any cellular antenna to the cloud and enables reduced battery use, lower data consumption, faster debugging and improved stability for IoT devices. Current customers include Bosch, Carlsberg and Maersk; Onomondo reports onboarding roughly 50 new customers per quarter, a fourfold increase in new customer intake in Q1 2022, and triple‑digit year‑over‑year growth within its existing customer base versus 2021. Co‑founded in 2012 by Michael Karlsen and Henrik Aagaard, the startup plans to use new funding to productize offerings, expand go‑to‑market and marketing efforts, and scale headcount from about 50 to around 100 by year‑end. Management says it aims to triple ARR twice over the next two years as it targets asset‑rich industries such as transport, manufacturing and logistics. To date, Onomondo has raised more than $26 million in capital.
