Founded in 2024 in Leipzig by former hoteliers Ralf Bonin, Christian Müller, and Tobias Koehler together with AI specialist Jochen Emig, Onsai builds round-the-clock AI "employees" that answer calls, manage reservations, and resolve everyday guest inquiries. The software is already in use at hotel groups such as McDreams Hotels and Homaris, where early results indicate operating cost reductions of up to one-third and measurable relief for human staff. Onsai targets the acute talent shortage afflicting 84 % of German hotels and plans to connect its technology to additional property-management systems while releasing new AI agents over the next year. With adoption of AI in European hotels still at only 41 %, the company sees significant upside and intends to use fresh capital to accelerate European expansion and grow its team. Onsai’s product portfolio is being positioned as a strategic must-have rather than a convenience tool for hoteliers.
