Onwardly is an Auckland, New Zealand–based cybersecurity SaaS platform founded in 2020 and led by CEO Phil Howie. The platform enables tech leaders to self-assess weaknesses, build policy, manage security tasks in one place, and automate tedious security work. It also aims to help customers win more deals by presenting a stronger security story. Onwardly launched less than 12 months before its seed raise and is already seeing strong early interest from Australian businesses. The company plans to expand into Australia and will use funding for growth and further product development. In December 2021 it completed a $1.0M seed round to support those efforts.
