Originally launched as a way for companies to manage branding assets in-house, OpenBrand pivoted to a SaaS for designers, agencies and their clients to collaborate and share creative work such as logos, business cards, ads and illustrations. The startup recently launched a 'Delivery' feature that enables designers to send clearly presented, well-organized creative works with blueprints for over 600 types of assets and placeholders that prompt technical specifications and file formats. Designers can edit creative work after a link has been sent and are notified when a client opens a file for the first time. An upcoming preview feature will generate contextual mockups (for example, a business card in a hand, billboards on buildings, or t-shirts on models) using the Daisy API. The company is relocating to be wholly based in London from its current London/Prague presence. OpenBrand was backed with £150k by a private Czech angel investor, funding it used to reach an MVP.
