OpenDoor Trading operates an anonymous, browser- and session-based trading platform designed to improve liquidity across off-the-run Treasuries (OFTRs) and Treasury Inflation Protected Securities (TIPS). The company serves asset managers, central banks, primary dealers, hedge funds, and trading firms. It was co-founded by Susan Estes and Brian Meehan less than three years ago and is based in Jersey City. OpenDoor closed a $10M funding round at a $40M pre-money valuation. The funds will be used to support technology and business development. Launch of the platform is scheduled for the fall.
