Openet provides transaction management software that delivers real-time network engagement, insight, monetization and control to network operators. The company is based in Dublin, Ireland and serves more than 80 customers in 28 countries. It completed a $21m financing comprising $16m in equity and $5m in long-term debt. Openet plans to use the funds to develop direct and indirect distribution channels, advance product development and product management, and strengthen deployment engineering. Leadership includes CEO Niall Norton and chairman Gary Cuccio; the company also appointed Margaret Rice-Jones to its board. Openet is a global provider of event processing and transaction management solutions. The company completed a $10.5m equity financing. The round was led by Cross Atlantic Capital Partners and Enterprise Ireland, with participation from existing investor Balderton Capital. The financing brings the total amount the company has raised to date to almost $61m (€41m). The new capital will enable Openet to accelerate its growth in regional markets and make new strategic investments. As part of the transaction, Paul Sutton, managing partner at Cross Atlantic Capital Partners, will join Openet's board of directors. Openet is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, and operates regional offices worldwide.
