Openscreen is a developer-centric API platform that enables businesses to generate dynamic, tracked, and secure QR Codes with a few lines of code. Its cloud manages the lifecycle of QR Codes—generating and storing codes and scans—and drives insights from every interaction. The platform positions itself as a developer-first, contactless engagement solution that extends the Internet of Things by embedding contactless capabilities into consumer and business applications. Openscreen commercially launched Openscreen.com in January 2022. In February 2022 the company raised $5.0M in a Series A to fund continued platform development and expansion into five industry verticals: Retail, Travel, Healthcare, Real Estate, and Industrial. The round was led by CFFI Ventures and Columbus Capital, with additional participation from Canadian family-office venture funds.
