Operaize develops Operaize Cognitive Operations, an AI-powered production planning and scheduling solution that aims to eliminate manual planning and enable fully software-driven optimization. The company combines AI-based knowledge representation, analytics and optimization methods to deliver real-time, high-quality planning and decision making. Operaize has worked with leading Fraunhofer institutes and has demonstrated measurable increases in effectiveness and sustainability in the chemical and food industries. The startup was founded in January 2020 and is based in Cologne. It currently employs 13 software developers and marketing experts and plans to grow with new customers and partners.
