Opply says its platform saves customers an average of two months of sourcing time and reduces costs by about 20% through automation. It targets a market where SME consumer goods brands spend an estimated $1.4 trillion annually on cost of goods and face limited transparency and relationships. Opply recently raised $4 million in funding led by Chalfen Ventures and Anthemis Group and will use the cash to expand engineering and commercial teams. The capital is intended to support delivery of a global go-to-market strategy for the food and drink SME segment.
