OpportuniME is a program founded by Charter School of Wilmington senior Miracle Olatunji to connect high school students with internships and enrichment opportunities. The service both aggregates existing opportunities and creates new ones by partnering with organizations and companies. Its first partnership, announced in March, was with the Washington, D.C.-based Creator Institute. OpportuniME recently won a $10,000 top prize at The World Series of Entrepreneurship, which the founder said will help move the venture further along. The company gained visibility through regional competitions that select student founders to present on a main stage. The founder has received prior recognition, including Mogul’s list of notable high school students and a Forbes profile.
