OpsHelm builds an automated platform that finds common security mistakes (for example exposed S3 buckets or firewall misconfigurations) and can propose or automatically apply fixes. The system surfaces suggested remediations in tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams so operators can accept or reject fixes and the platform learns from those decisions. Security teams can audit actions later via an operations dashboard, while the product aims to reduce interrupt-driven alert workflows. OpsHelm emerged from stealth and launched earlier this year, and it is offering a public beta with general availability expected early next year. The founding team includes CEO Bill Gambardella (formerly COO at Leviathan Security Group and head of security at Sprout Social) and three other co-founders with security backgrounds. The company says it focuses on learning from each customer’s environment rather than hardcoded best practices. Financially, OpsHelm has raised $1.3 million to date.
