Founded in 2020, Opt Fit provides the gym-focused AI surveillance service “GYM DX,” which analyzes security camera footage to deliver usage analytics, crowding alerts and unauthorized entry detection. GYM DX has been deployed in more than 2,000 facilities—double the figure at the company’s Series A—and posts a continuation rate exceeding 99.9%. Building on this traction, the company is rolling out “Kaigo DX,” a privacy-aware monitoring camera for caregiving facilities, with trial installations starting January 2025 and broader AI feature releases slated for November of the same year. Opt Fit’s proprietary indoor-person detection technology, extensive training data and streamlined AI pipeline enable fast, cost-efficient product launches across new domains. The 36-person team plans to deepen alliances with operators seeking unmanned or labor-saving facility management and will hire 15 additional employees to support rapid growth. Over the mid- to long-term, Opt Fit aims to apply its camera-based AI to a wide range of industries, establishing infrastructure that reduces dependence on human labor.
