Ora Graphene develops and manufactures advanced graphene materials, centered on its patent‑protected GrapheneQ™ free‑standing graphene membranes. The company says its membranes improve sound quality and reduce energy consumption for consumer electronics and is developing applications for additional markets. Ora has produced very large sheets of free‑standing graphene and emphasizes proprietary production techniques and IP. Founded in 2017 as a joint effort between McGill University and TandemLaunch, the company is based in Montreal. In conjunction with recent financing, Ora was awarded a Sustainable Development Technology Canada grant to explore new graphene applications and further commercialization.
