Overview
Orca Bio builds single-cell–precision manufacturing technology to create personalized T-cell therapies designed to replace a patient’s diseased blood and immune system. Its lead product, Orca-T, is an investigational allogeneic T-cell immunotherapy approaching an April 6, 2026 PDUFA target action date and is being positioned for commercial launch. The company is also advancing Orca-Q, a second-generation therapy, and has opened new Phase 2 and expanded Phase 1b trials to study both products in reduced-intensity and nonmyeloablative conditioning settings. To support commercialization, Orca Bio is expanding manufacturing beyond its Sacramento facility to a planned East Coast site. Financially, the company has added $250 million in new equity capital across its two most recent rounds and amended a Silicon Valley Bank credit facility that now provides up to $100 million in additional liquidity. These resources are intended to fund launch readiness and continued clinical development as the firm seeks to broaden access to curative cell therapies.
