Order Mapper’s flagship product, Order Pizza, automatically places orders with pizzerias via phone, email, fax, or website and intervenes manually only when an order doesn’t go through. The app has delivered orders to roughly 30% of U.S. pizzerias and the company is working with the top 50 chains to add full menus. Bricker says the platform reduces staff time on the phone for restaurants and can help them take more orders during peak times. The company also operates an Order Beer app in Dallas and is a graduate of the Dallas-based Tech Wildcatters incubator. Founders plan to expand the platform to additional categories such as flowers, massage, and other foods and to launch internationally. The company previously participated in 500 Startups’ Twilio Micro-Fund in 2010 and was founded in 2009.
