Overview

Negotiatus offers a single platform that brings finance, operations, and purchasers together to streamline purchasing and procurement. The product scrapes past purchase history and vendor SKUs so users can find approved brands and products in one place and track shipments from the dashboard. Finance teams can consolidate invoices into weekly or monthly summaries, while operations can centralize order requests, approvals, and leverage analytics to make better purchasing decisions. The company charges a monthly subscription per location and also earns revenue based on spend volume from vendors. Negotiatus has about 300 customers, including health and wellness chains (SoulCycle, Orangetheory, CorePower Yoga) and coworking businesses (WeWork, Zeus, Domio). The company says it takes less than a day to get started and hopes to expand beyond physical products into software services. Negotiatus provides a tech-enabled procurement service that analyzes clients’ shipping needs and preferred brands, then negotiates better deals across suppliers. The platform combines software analysis with hands-on negotiation, charging a 20% commission on any savings rather than an upfront fee. The four-person team has found initial traction with professional offices and can serve single-office businesses as well as multi-location clients, though they declined to name specific customers. Founders Tom Jaklitsch and Zachary Garippa developed the offering after interviews with local business owners; Jaklitsch is currently on hold from Johns Hopkins to work on the company. Negotiatus spent several months in New York as part of the Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator; the company’s roots are in Baltimore and the team is likely to return there when the accelerator wraps. The startup has received early funding from A-Level Capital.
