Orderlion is a Vienna-based SaaS startup that provides an eCommerce Operating System for suppliers and wholesalers in the food and beverage B2B market. The platform lets SMEs set up mobile apps for digital order processing, integrates with existing ERP systems, supports upselling, and digitizes payments. Orderlion reports customers see average revenue increases of 35% through upsells and up to 95% savings in process costs from payment digitization. The company reports more than €150M in GMV and serves customers in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the UK. Founded in 2018 by Stefan Strohmer and Patrick Schubert, the team will use the new capital to grow internationally, expand the product line-up and hire more staff. By improving order accuracy and delivery reliability, Orderlion also aims to reduce food loss across the supply chain. Since inception the startup has raised about €7.5 million, including the newly announced €4 million round.
