Overview

Ordr delivers network-level device security and visibility for unmanaged IoT, internet-of-medical-things and operational technology devices by deploying atop existing infrastructure and applying machine-learning behavioral baselining. The platform collects roughly 1,000 attributes per device, integrates with close to 70 technology partners, and autonomously generates enforcement policies and zero-trust controls. Ordr says its system flags suspicious events, helps inform asset-management decisions, and can optimize device utilization and maintenance scheduling. The company serves more than 500 customers, including federal, state and local governments, is deployed in three of the world’s top six hospitals, and is in use across 150+ manufacturing sites. Ordr reported more than 140% year-over-year growth in new customer revenue in the quarter ending March 31, 2022 and described its overall revenue as accelerating. With the new funds it plans to double its roughly 80-person workforce and invest in go-to-market, marketing, customer success, engineering, and expanded partner integrations. Ordr delivers proactive protection for the hyper-connected enterprise via its Systems Control Engine (SCE), which maps the device flow genome at scale and continuously inspects, classifies and baselines device behavior. The SCE is purpose-built to provide complete visibility and control over every class of connected device and system. The solution has been adopted by enterprise organizations across multiple industries and geographies. Ordr plans to use new capital to expand go-to-market activities worldwide, grow enterprise sales teams, recruit top-tier partners and raise awareness of its touchless approach to proactive security. The company also intends to accelerate ongoing development of the Ordr Systems Control Engine. Ordr was founded in November 2015 and is led by CEO Greg Murphy. Ordr offers a network-level cybersecurity platform that fully maps the device flow genome at massive scale to inspect, classify and baseline device behavior. The company uses machine learning to continuously analyze device behavior and deliver closed-loop security. Ordr’s software architecture processes enormous quantities of data in real time and uses AI to automatically generate policies for each class of device. Those policies are implemented directly through an organization’s existing multi-vendor network and security infrastructure. Ordr recently exited stealth mode to provide enterprises complete visibility and control over every class of network-connected device and system. The company is led by President and CEO Greg Murphy alongside co-founders Gnanaprakasam Pandian (CPO) and Sheausong Yang, PhD (Chief Scientist).
