Orka is a Manchester-based HR tech startup focused on products for shift and hourly workers. Its core offerings include Orka Works, a worker marketplace used by over 50,000 people, and Orka Pay, an earned-wage-access product that lets employees withdraw up to 50% of wages as they are earned. The company reported 150% year-on-year revenue growth in Q3 of last year. Orka plans to launch a third product, Orka Check, to improve background checks, and will use new funding to drive further UK expansion and double headcount to 50 in 2021.
