Orna is a Toronto-based provider of an AI-powered Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platform for small and midsize businesses. Its core product uses an AI engine with NLP to collate data across 28 sources — from customer infrastructure to CVE, MITRE, and the Dark Web — to generate incident-specific tasks and actions for stakeholders across IT, legal, executive, HR, communications and other domains. Orna provides Risk & Compliance and a Report Builder that guide organizations through NIST processes, streamline reporting, and can help reduce cyber insurance premiums. The platform includes a Playbook Community Marketplace where organizations, consultants and vendors can create, customize, share, and sell cyber incident playbooks to other Orna users. Founded by Logan Wolfe, Jana Krioukov and Martyn Gill, the company plans to use its new seed funding to invest in marketing and demand generation, R&D, and go-to-market partnerships across the US, Canada and EMEA. Orna aims to grow into an $80 million valuation and pursue a larger Series A within the next 15 months.
