Osseon Therapeutics designs, manufactures and distributes patented, steerable delivery systems intended to improve quality of life for patients with vertebral compression fractures (VCF) and other degenerative bone diseases. Led by CEO Ron Clough, the company’s products are distributed globally. Its core product focus is minimally invasive devices for treating VCF resulting from osteoporosis, osteotraumatic injuries, myelomas, and similar conditions. In January 2013 Osseon completed a $14M equity financing. The company intends to use the capital to expand its VCF device product line.
