The company combines genome sequencing with advanced human-identification applications to offer end-to-end, in-house processing from forensic evidence to investigative leads. Its team works with academic researchers, forensic scientists, medical examiners, and law enforcement agencies. Over the last three years the team has helped law enforcement crack cases at local, state, and federal levels, including cases unsolved for decades. Othram intends to use the Series B proceeds to further develop its genetic testing platform and expand operations throughout North America.
